MEET OUR DIRECTOR: DALIA O’GORMAN
Dalia has served as the Bilingual Head Start Director/Family Services Coordinator of The Preschool Project and is currently a Pennsylvania Quality Assurance System (PQAS) trainer for early childhood teachers in the Commonwealth. She obtained her Director’s Credential from Community College of Philadelphia, she holds a Bilingual Child Development Associate degree in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and Obstetrics from the University of Guanajuato. Last year Dalia was recognized by the Hispanic Choice award as the Personality in Education.
Dalia serves as the volunteer Executive Director of a cultural center that supports the Mexican community in the South Philadelphia area. She is an AmeriCorps volunteer for the Philadelphia Aids Consortium TPAC. Dalia enjoys reading, traveling and working with people with diverse cultural backgrounds.
