Regarded as a leader in the field for nearly a century, Federation Early Learning Services (FELS), a non-profit agency, has provided quality programs to the Jewish and secular communities since 1911.

We enroll infants, toddlers, preschool and school age children from diverse economic, religious and racial backgrounds on a year-round basis in both center and home based programs. With seven centers, four public school sites and six home based programs, located throughout Philadelphia, Montgomery and Delaware Counties, we serve 1,000 children annually.

For nearly three decades, we have been providing classroom supports for children with special needs and helping their families identify and obtain resources that are vital to their child’s optimum development.

Our staff serves in key local, regional and state leadership positions advocating for increased funding, higher standards and meaningful legislation to ensure quality programs for all children in the state and in the nation. Throughout our history, we have served as a resource for other early childhood education programs offering advice, support and technical assistance in a variety of areas.

Our management team has over 100 years of combined experience in the field. We are proud that some of our staff has been with us 10, 20 and 30 years. This is quite an accomplishment in a field that has high staff turnover rates.
